Welcome to Mississippi :)

So I suppose there might still be a few people out there checking in from time to time, wondering how things are going in this crazy life.  Mostly I am going about the day to day in luxury.  This has been my last week of casual... very soon the actual flight training will begin! Needless to say, I am excited and nervous and all sorts of other things that I cant begin to explain... what a trip it's been thus far - and yet it hasn't even begun. 

Really, though, I am putting this blog back into service as much for personal reasons as any.... in the growing age of computers and internet mania, I don't have a good place to keep a recipe log... I don't pretend to believe that its likely to be widely read, and honestly hope it isn't... but I would like to record my cooking (and other) shenanigans somewhere... so brace yourselves, here goes nothing :)
